well known as as no so common that were alive and thrived during each time period This book is not made to be all inclusive it just introduces kids young adults and even adults that are learning a few new things as well to the different time periods and their associated fascinating life forms that lived respectively during those timesThen it is discussed what could have happened from an evolutionary standpoint if dinosaurs would not have become extinct and could have evolved into different species as time would have moved on and how that would have looked and affected us todayA nice read for anyone interested in dinosaurs or prehistoric facts Also would be interesting for anyone interested in biologyevolutionary science The illustrations were nice however the Kindle version does not do them justice I am sure I would love to see how they would pop on a traditional book format Despite being a Biology major I was impressed with the ability to learn about this subject matter Compliments to the Author 45 starsThank you NetGalley and BBC Focus for this ARC and in return I am submitting. Discover what dinosaurs were REALLY like in this myth busting book Find out how the real dinosaurs actually lived what they looked like and how they sounded in this fascinating book While popular Hollywood movies have iven us a simplistic view of these magnificent creatures the latest scientific research is ch. F dinosaurs especially since we are continually updating with new information findings to being a nice refresher and collector of data from Previous Dinosaur Reading I Think dinosaur reading I think be a nice addition to any library personal or public Provided kindly from NetGalley I would recommend the paperback instead of a digital format since you Thieves Nights get the full enjoyment of seeing a two page setup For example when one half of a T Rex is one page instead of turning to a new page on the digital screen your eyes can do the motion to complete the picture of the other half of a T Rex Another reason for reading the paperback I found it a bit difficult to read for some of the captions for the pictures were including in the sections of text on a different page Aood source of information about dinosaurs without being dry or drowning the reader in information overloadThis book provides up to date factual science about dinosaurs It is packed with information but relays it in short spurts There are Miss Dulane And My Lord great and colorful illustrations accompanied by information such as that the fact that Fossils of Epidexipteryx show that it may have used its feather as a display to attract mates When looking at the picture of this dinosaur you would wonder why it has a red tail as big as its body An answer to the kind of uestions that pop into a child s mind isreatThis book can be used as a resource for school papers or just for interesting reading Kids love dinosaurs The authors provide factual information rather than cartoonish ideas or Mrs Zant And The Ghost guesses How refreshing Such aood book It stands out in an area of interest to many childrenI received an ARC from Fox Chapel Publishing through NetGalley ThisWere Well Known As
in no way affects my opinion or ratingno way affects my opinion or rating this book I am voluntarily submitting this review My son is a dinosaur aficionado so this book is right up his alley However I Barack Obama generally stay away from factoid books like DK and the like because there are just too many boxes of texts and information on the page that it is apt toive you ADD if you don t already have it This offering from the BBC however toes the line of overkill I like that the dinosaurs look realistic My son loves the shows that try to recreate them and make them look like they might have in real life so that s a plus There s a lot of information here but it is told in a clear way and it is also up to date I like the what if essays such as What if the Dinosaurs Had Survived This type of thing is reat to et kids thinking and keep them engaged in the learning This a Oklahoma Statesman great choice for dino fans of any age I received a review copy in exchange for my honest opinion I know numerous children fascinated by dinosaurs so this book was a huge hit It is colourful and well written The key facts and uestions are addressed in longer sections of writing which are interspersed with key dinosaur fact files and pictures This is ideal for a wide age range from 5 12 years in my opinion A excellent book I highly recommend and I will be buying copies for use in an educational setting. My unbiased and voluntary review and opinion This comes on like a special edition of a magazine than a book with wonderful artwork but a very very bitty structure You can t read this from top left to bottom right in the standard fashion with ease that s for sure and even when we break off from almost centre fold looks at T rex and Archaeopteryx etc the main essays are rudely interrupted by full page box outs factoids and distractions In having these chapters based on scientific surveys of dinosaur feathers and colours how they fluked themselves to the top of the food chains of their time how they ran ate and so on and even the thought experiments needed en route to Jurassic Parks for real we lose all sense of narrative flow and I am sure put off several young readers attracted by the funky visuals Similarly if this is for adults only they would much prefer the routine nay staid design and in seeking that in vain here would probably The Smash Smash Truck get from New Scientist or some such As a child I was obsessed with dinosaurs As an adult I have been able to explore about the creatures in our past and I am fascinated with the progress in information provided about theseiants from long ago This book was really neat It had up to date information and wasn t overwhelming with information It felt like both me up to date information and wasn t overwhelming with information It felt like both me the kids could enjoy it as it was easy to understand without being too simple I would like the print copy BETTER but this was still a reat read on the kindle version The illustrations were beautiful Dinosaurs The Myth Busting Guide to Prehistoric Beasts by BBC Focus Is A Book I is a book I from NetGalley and the review is voluntary This book has remarkable artwork that makes the dinosaurs look lifelike The wonderful information about the time periods various species the asteroid and after is very well done and doesn t speak down to the child or adultAfter all the awesomeness they present a section with dinosaurs looking like cutouts with funky colors in leashes It s a what if type section Discussion on having a dino for a pet for insistence I think that would be okay if the book was addressing a younger audience but anyone that had read the previous section really didn t want to see checkered dinosaurs I think many of us are interested or being fascinated by all things rated to dinosaurs I myself am drawn to dinosaurs personally I haven t found the true reason yet but I enjoy learning all about them watching documentaries instead of B rated movies though I have seen a few This short novella oes into a wide exploration of time discovering the key moments in our planet s history leading to the birth and death of the prehistoric marvels
The Novella Goes Intonovella Adalet A Ao Lu Nun Romanc L goes into dinosaurs managed to conuer their world starting from being small furtive animals to becoming a dominantlobal force The novella I Know You By Heart gives answers to some futuristic uestions as what if the asteroid hasn t hit the Yucatan peninsula at a precise time and what if scientists could clone a dinosaur This novella is areat start into the world Anging assumptions and providing a far different perspective Rather than being slow lumbering and a bit stupid dinosaurs were smart and nimble brained just ask the paleontologists who are peering deep inside the fossilized skulls of these prehistoric animals Learn how dinosaurs conuered the world what would hav.
