For sale is my 1976 Porsche 912E in Sahara Diamond Metallic with tan/beige interior. It's a rare sunroof model. I have owned the car for about three and a half years and will be sad to see it go. But I'll be equally happy if it goes to a good home!

The car is in very condition overall. Bodywork is very good with just a few minor blemishes and small scratches to the paintwork. No rust or rot that I am aware of. Wheels are original 15" Fuchs alloys contemporary to the car. The car is mechanically sound with MOT until May 2011 and tax until Nov 2010. Interior is also very good having been re-upholstered and re-headlined at some point (not by me). Only downside is that the electric windows currently don't work.

The car has always been garaged during my ownership and so has been protected from the worst of the British elements. I have done very lilttle (mainly dry) mileage in the car since I got it.

Back in the summer of 2007 I had the front suspension pan and battery tray replaced professionally at a cost over £2000. I have also had the steering geometry/wheel alignment sorted out.

Engine is a Type IV 2.0 litre flat four... as fitted to the Porsche 914 and later VW bay-window buses. It's running on twin Weber carbs.

Well, I sold the car today for asking price. #1740 will now be resident in the Czech Republic!

I'll probably continue to drop in here from time to time to get my P-car fix and see whats occuring!
